Tenentem Folium

Tenentem Folium:
The Tenentem Folium is a predatory bug. Its body mimics that of the trees in which it resides. When prey comes close it uses it’s specially designed for arms called Caperes. It lashes out at its prey holding them in its arms in a deadly embrace. Once a bug is held by the Tenentem Folium they never escape. The Tenentem Folium begins eating the bug with its many toothed mouth. Its mouth is filled with Sharp fangs which shread a bugs flesh. If the prey struggles or attempts to escape the Tenentem Folium bites into the head ceasing all struggles by the prey. Tenentem Folium are spectacular hunters, they are paitent hunters, they don’t chase after prey instead they wait for prey to come to them. Understanably camoflauge is the most important aspect to the Tenentem Folium, to help this there are many different types of Tenentem Folium here we have a Fullonibus Folium. The Folium will move with the wind shakeing side to side acting like a leaf. Here a Tenentem Folium has grabbed a Volare Cupro and has begun to devour it.
(Name means Grasping leaf. It's also based Heavly on the Praying mantis. This piece was made with a picture of a mantis right in front of me and I constantly tried to make it look as lifelike as possible. Metal's still a pain to photograph. This thing is also really fragile, its not that it breaks easily its just that its not very solid.
