Repono Campana

The Repono Campana is a truely magical feat of nature. This land based spider scuttles across the earth searching for prey. When it spots sutible prey (in this case a herbavoir called Fullon Spiram) it sneaks up on the victim. When it gets in reach it lashes out with its red ball on its head. This red ball is really a toxic liquid that when stuck on an insect sends them into a shock leaving the victim defensless. The Repono Campana is completely blind. However it can see using echolocation by clicking the plate inside of its mouth. This click is to high of a frequency for most insects. It is thought that this adaptation allows the Repono to find prey better in the dark. Now once the Repono has its prey it takes them and puts them inside of its see through body. This container is filled with the Repono's stomach acid and slowly liquifys the prey. Scientist don't know why the container is see through.
To see the Repono in action is a stunning feat since most of its hunting is done at night.
