Flo the Firefly

So this is another clay firefly I made. For this one I tried to bring out a younger look to it. Its smaller it doesn't stand as tall, its color's are both softer and less threatening. It's eye's are less narrow than Buzz's. However it has two sets of wings unlike Buzz's one. So I imagine Flo to be a quick flying firefly that is rather fragile. The back of this fire fly is actually a red light-bulb that was opened up and so that the light could be added inside of it. That's another thing about this piece it kept breaking! The face cracked the body chipped the light bulb broke and had to be glued together! It's amazing this thing even hold's together. The body is brisk fired clay with red shoe-polish covering it, the shoe-polish became rather pink when I put it on (If the clay is smooth the polish is applied in very thin coats meaning it changes the color) so I threw in a little bit of black to give it some variation.
I plan to do two more of these but I'm having trouble finding the bottles I need.
